Diane Harris is the Editor of Money, the world’s leading personal finance publication, with more than 7 million readers in print and online. Harris has been with the title for 20 years in two separate 10-year stints, in a variety of positions (writer, senior editor, assistant managing editor, executive editor) before taking over the top spot in February of 2015. During her years at the title, Harris has won a National Magazine Award for her coverage of the 1987 stock market crash, edited several award-winning series and features, helped create a groundbreaking college ranking franchise and worked entrepreneurially to develop extensions for the brand. In her years away from Money, Harris worked as a senior editor at Working Woman Magazine and as a freelance writer and columnist for a number of other publications, including Parenting, Real Simple, Individual Investor and AARP Magazine. She is also the co-author of a personal finance book for women, with Georgette Mosbacher, called “It Takes Money, Honey,” based on a feature that Harris originally wrote for Money. Harris holds a BA from Vassar College and a master’s in journalism from Columbia University. She lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband and two children.
Meredith Long is the Group Publisher of Time, Fortune and Money. She is responsible for leading the integrated sales and marketing operations across all platforms and developing new growth opportunities and revenue streams for these Time Inc. titles and all of their franchises and extensions. Long was previously publisher of Time from January 2015 until April 2016. Long is a veteran of Time, starting as an Account Manager in 2003 and has held leadership positions in its Washington D.C., Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. She was Executive Director, West 2013 until 2015. She began her career as an Assistant Account Executive at Fallon in Minneapolis. Long received a B.A. in Journalism and Broadcast News from The University of Colorado Boulder. She sits on the Los Angeles Regional Advisory Board for The American Ireland Fund.
